He lost his parents in an accident when they were traveling to their village in Masaka district. Timothy was too affected because he spent over three months in hospital surviving on oxygen support machines. After being treated he started staying with his relatives but he was mistreated badly with no food and denied access to shelter. We found him on street and rescued him. He joined the rest of children in our home and we started feeding him three meals a day plus other food supplements and providing him with medication.

They are siblings. They lost their father when Adela was 2 years and their mum was a prostitute. She didn’t take proper care of them and most times she could make them beg money on streets. One day, she left them on street and never returned back to take them home. When we were having a gospel outreach, we found them alone, scared and living in unfinished building scavenging for food. Adela and Emma were in very poor health, suffering from infection and high fever. We took them to hospital for medication and healthcare. They recovered slowly by slowly and joined our home.

At six months, Ezra was placed outside our house around midnight by unknown person, with a swollen right Jaw wrapped in a piece of cloth and a piece of paper put in his pant which included his names and some dates which could be his date of birth. When we heard someone crying in late night, we moved outside and to find was a baby boy crying.

When things where worse for everyone in the Lockdown, a single mother of three kids disappeared from home after failing to provide even a half a meal for her l ittle ones, leaving them homeless and starving! When we heard news about that, we responded quickly and rescued her. It was so scary for her that even when w e took her in to become part of our Family, it took several months for her to get over it, daily nightmares and up to now she hates darkness so much.

Rescued from deep neglect at 9 months old, very sick and malnourished weighing just 10 pounds. His short life had been full of incredible sadness and survival, not exactly what a little baby should be dealing with. He was seen by a doctor and got several antibiotics for the 3 different infections that filled his weak body. Within a few days he started responding to the medication, nutritious food, and sweet love from us. He is now healthy, part of a family that absolutely adores him and has a future that has been re-written and is filled with hope.

David was left at a taxi stop by his mother. He lived on that street for many days while strangers fed him, but no one was willing to take him into their home. When we learned of his situation, we brought him to the orphanage to care for him. Now you can find David laughing and enjoying stories with his new family. One day, he hopes to be a teacher, and we cannot wait to see him excelling in future! He is an intelligent young boy who will brighten your day with just a smile. He loves learning about the word of God and we are so thankful for his inquisitive mind.

At just five years old this child was living on the streets with a few children of similar ages. She was without parents to care for her. She agreed to come to our orphanage when she learned that she would receive a meal daily. Little did she know that she would also gain a bed, safe place to grow and play, as well as family. Patience is clever, well behaved, and always smiling. We are so happy she joined our family.
